I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, registered with the Washington State Board of Health and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I believe that every single person has the inner strength to confront anything in their lives. And with the right support people can learn to grow, heal and change what they want or need. I work from a person-centered, strength based lens that is non-judgmental and compassionate.
I have worked in a variety of settings both in California and Washington state, including school and community-based programs, working with high-risk adolescents and their families. As well as youth group homes, substance abuse programs, and hospital suicide intervention programs.
I was born in Northridge, California and raised within two cultures. I have lived in Colombia, South America, California's Bay Area and Vancouver, Washington. I speak Spanish fluently and can provide therapy in Spanish. My interests include reading, photography, hiking, spending time in nature, and anything that relieves the stress of everyday life.
I promise to be there with you during every step of your journey. The goal is to help you grow, conquer your struggles, heal your pain and move forward toward the life you deserve.
